Thunder Spring

A 63-unit, 350,000 square foot whole ownership condominium project located in Ketchum, Idaho, within easy walking distance to the Sun Valley Resort and including Zenergy Health Club and Spa. Originally developed in the late 1990’s to early 2000’s, VP Companies was engaged by the developer in November of 2005 to be the local representation in all existing operating activities, including sales of their remaining units. In 2010, VP Companies negotiated the sale of the remaining Thunder Spring land from the Lehman bankruptcy estate to a European-based private equity fund. Since taking on management of the project, VP Companies has orchestrated a complete project turnaround, sellout of the remaining condominiums, and an operational resurgence at Zenergy. As part of the turnaround strategy, all amenities were consolidated and streamlined, management centralized and all operations re-marketed under one umbrella and brand. This created a unified resort experience for the end-use, while reducing expense redundancies throughout the project. The project was sold out by the end of 2006.
