Colorado Golf Club

Colorado Golf Club, which opened in 2007, is a private golf community situated on 1700 acres south of Denver in Douglas County, CO. The centerpiece of the community is a championship Coore & Crenshaw Golf Course. Additional facilities include the first 9-hole Coore & Crenshaw designed Short Course, a 45,000 square foot Marsh and Associates (MAI) golf clubhouse, and a resort style tennis & pool complex. The community is low-density, with only 170 lots and 11 cottages for National members, and features cutting edge technology. Half the acreage has been permanently protected by a Conservation Easement designating it as open space in perpetuity.

VP Companies utilized a strategy of largely referral-based marketing, executing it with exceptional success. Colorado Golf Club ran very limited advertisement, but focused on event driven prospecting, public relations and selective direct mail. Under VP Companies’ direction, two thirds of all Golf membership inventory and 80% of the real estate sold before 2010.

VP Companies was one of the Managing Partners, provided the lead equity and arranged for the development loan for Colorado Golf Club.
